Make friends this summer at Hickory Ridge Equestrian Center! If you are horse crazy and want to be a part of an ultimate riding and learning program, this is the Day Camp for you. Whether you have never been near a horse before, or have ridden years, our program has something to offer each student. Please go to our Registration page for camp dates.

HORSES,HORSES, HORSES is what you get at Hickory Ridge. Your whole camp experience is focused on the horse and his needs, which can prepare you for ownership. We provide a variety of activities to enhance self-esteem, self-awareness and especially self-confidence. Our program is tailor made for each student, regardless of previous experience. Safety, horsemanship and horse management practices are taught at all levels.

Camp is open to boys and girls from the ages of 7 to 15. Sessions are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Extended hours available from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for an additional fee.

Hickory Ridge has planned daily activities to teach horsemanship in a safe and fun-filled manner. Our program allows students to proceed at their own pace in a positive, upbeat way. A typical day involves approximately 2 hours of riding, a hands-on learning experience, horse craft and book studies.
