Day Camps

OverviewIntroduction CampOpen CampRegistration

INTRODUCTION TO HORSES is designed for campers with a love of horses but limited prior experience. The teaching emphasis is on safety, basic skills up to a trot and stable management. Terminology, colors and breeds, anatomy, conformation and basic horse psychology is also included. Riding lessons help teach balance, independence and confidence. This camp is a great way to learn about safety and horsemanship.

We provide one-on-one instruction at all times when working with a horse for all students. Top

OPEN camps are ideal for riders with some experience seeking to upgrade their horsemanship skills. Students will learn about, and be a part of, the full responsibility of their horse. Students will work on developing that unique partnership as they better understand the personality and nature of the horse.

Students will be split into groups based upon previous experience. Every level of rider will have something to benefit from Open Camps. We will work individually with the student to ensure a rewarding and educational session.

Students owning their own horse may take advantage of a great learning and training opportunity by bringing their horse to camp.

Limited enrollment allows us to properly match each student with an appropriate horse or pony. Well-mannered school horses are carefully selected to provide each student with a suitable mount. We provide private instructions and individual attention necessary to ensure a rewarding experience. Top
